https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=28781 Bug ID: 28781 Summary: Section 9.1.2 findElement() should include the sessionID and response code in the response object Product: Browser Test/Tools WG Version: unspecified Hardware: PC OS: Windows NT Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: WebDriver Assignee: public-browser-tools-testing@w3.org Reporter: johnjan@microsoft.com QA Contact: public-browser-tools-testing@w3.org CC: mike@w3.org Blocks: 20860 Let result be equal to {"element-6066-11e4-a52e-4f735466cecf": id}" I remember discussing this one[1], but for some reason I was expecting that in addition to our 'guid' generation, we would also want to get back the sessionId and response code. If that is being intentionally left off the object, can you explain why?
