Hi, A very long time ago, back in May 2009, the Mobile Web Best Practices working group took the following resolution: "Add an erratum to mobileOK Basic Tests, at the right time, to point to the edited version of XHTML Basic 1.1 including the lang attribute" http://www.w3.org/2009/05/12-bpwg-minutes.html#item01 This resolution was motivated by the re-introduction of the "lang" attribute in XHTML Basic 1.1. Then something went wrong and the updated version of XHTML Basic 1.1 got delayed. I am happy to report that the second edition of the XHTML Basic 1.1 standard, that integrates the "lang" attribute, has been published as a W3C Recommendation: http://www.w3.org/TR/2010/REC-xhtml-basic-20101123/ I re-opened ACTION-959 [1] on me to enact that resolution and will: - add the erratum to mobileOK Basic Tests - and update the XHTML Basic 1.1. DTD used by the mobileOK Checker library accordingly. Thanks, Francois. [1] http://www.w3.org/2005/MWI/BPWG/Group/track/actions/959
