Dear Gina, Thanks for your interests in our workshop. Like all W3C workshops and meetings i'm aware of, the participation is free, but with a limited audeince size. On this workshop, the limit has been set to 100 participants. The process of sponsorship is the following: 1- in order to apply for a grant, you have to submit an abstract and some paragraphs explaining why you want to join the event (what you would bring in, bring out, and your objectives). obviously, don't forget to mention that you need travel support. Note that we are not requesting a full position paper yet, but only an abstract with headliens of your future papre. Selected abstracts will be developed as full papers after Program committee decision. 2- based on these information, the program committee will rank the applicants, and based on the sponsorship budget we will be able to raise, we will select the first ranked applicants, till we run out of budget. FYI, we are about to announce an extension of the deadline till January 21. Please let us know if you or your colleagues are working on a submission.
