Hello, As you may have read as part of the Candidate Recommendation Press Release [1], work has started on a Mobile Web Best Practices checker, a tool that allows to get an overview of how a page fares with regard to the W3C mobile web best practices [2]: http://www.w3.org/2006/05/mwbp-check/ Please do note that this tool, released as an alpha service, is known to be incomplete (i.e., it doesn't check all the best practices), with some best practices only partially implemented [3], and has not endorsed by the Working Group at this point in time. Meanwhile, feedback and discussion on the tools are welcome; also, the code of the checker has been released as an open source project under the W3C Software license: http://dev.w3.org/cvsweb/2006/mwbp-validator/ Please get in touch with me if you are interested to contribute to this project.
