Hi Sorry to be late to the party, but I am just back from holiday. I think it would be a good idea to hold a call at 1400 GMT, 1500 UK, 1600 Europe ... and I am happy to chair it. If this has gone out too late and we don't end up with a quorum then we'll try again next week. Cheers Jo Please note that this meeting is W3C Member Only. Chair: Jo Team Contact: None Known Regrets: Francois, AndrewS Agenda: 1. Discuss public feedback on CT document last call - see below. 2. A view I find much useful is the view of the Annotated Document: http://www.w3.org/2000/06/webdata/xslt?inclusion=1&xslfile=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2003%2F12%2Fannotea-proxy&xmlfile=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.w3.org%2Fcgi-bin%2Ftidy-if%3FdocAddr%3Dhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.w3.org%252FTR%252F2008%252FWD-ct-guidelines-20080801%252F&annoteaServer=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2006%2F02%2Flc-comments-tracker%2F37584%2FWD-ct-guidelines-20080801%2Fannotations Or, more conveniently: http://tinyurl.com/634lue The view allows one to see easily the parts that were most commented: - section 4.1.5 Alteration of HTTP Header Values - section 4.1.5.5 Original Headers - section 4.2.3.2 Indication of Intended Presentation Media Type of Representation - section 4.3.6 Proxy Decision to Transform - section 4.3.6.2 HTTPS Link Re-writing This means we have a bit of work to do. Yes, we need to review the comments one by one and address and reply each one of them. Fortunately, many comments on the above sections are similar in content. Once we agreed on a position, replying should be easy. My overall position is that we should keep the Task Force alive for the time being. Even though some of the comments may be "merged", there still remain a lot of them, so a dedicated hour on this per week seems to be a minimum. Besides, the Last Call comments period is not over yet! That being said, I unfortunately have to send my regrets for the next 2 weeks: I'm off next week, and traveling for business the week after. Francois.
