Several comments on this section (4.2.6): 1. From the definition it sounds like this section should be titled "Ancestor element" since the element can be a descendant rather than just a child. 2. It is not clear to me why SHOULD is used here rather than MUST. 3. The "For example" sentence contains a normative requirement. 4. "contained inside (or owned by)" can simply be "owned by" since that definition already talks about descendants. 5.
