Hi Blockchainers, Having seen Marta's excellent intro email, I thought that it might be good to say hi to this community and introduce some of the work my organization (Digital Bazaar) is doing in this space. My name is Manu Sporny, I'm one of the founders of Digital Bazaar and its current CEO. Our company has been involved with W3C for the past decade or so. We build standards-based turn-key solutions for our customers that are in the payments and identity space. We are the company that founded the Web Payments Community Group (over 5 years ago), founded the Credentials Community Group, and I have also chaired Working Groups and helped create, edit, and get a few standards (RDFa, JSON-LD, HTML5+RDFa, etc.) through the W3C process. Our company is currently heavily involved in the Web Payments Interest and Working Groups, Credentials Community Groups, Verifiable Claims work, and expects that we may become more deeply involved in this group as well. I already know a good chunk of you in this group and have a good working relationship with each. For the rest, I look forward to working with this community and helping standardize the bits that make sense over the next several years. -- manu -- Manu Sporny (skype: msporny, twitter: manusporny, G+: +Manu Sporny) Founder/CEO - Digital Bazaar, Inc.
