Hi, folks–

I want to thank Dazza, Daniel, and Neha for doing a great job with the 
launch of the Google Hangout for prepping the Blockchains and the Web 
workshop!

I found it a really wonderful deep and quick dive into some of the 
technical questions that we'll dive into in the workshop, and

Particular thanks go to Dazza, who acted as host, who organized this, 
and whose brainchild it was!


Tomorrow, I'll have the position statements and current expressions of 
interest posted in public, and we'll start the process of review by the 
program committee. Because of the holiday last weekend, we're extending 
the deadline to next Wednesday, and we'll be making an announcement 
about that tomorrow.
