Hi Folks, It seems to me the value of bringing a bunch of blockchain people together under the W3C is to get interoperable standards around marshaling data in and out of blockchains, this includes, wallets, interledger communication, identity, Certificate Authorities, maybe even the horribly named oracles. Ultimately this is all about how do we, using secure and open technology with transparent governance, ethically manipulate Users' data on their behalf. These are the common threads throughout all blockchain technology, and is not dissimilar from the goals of the internet as a whole. So it would be nice if we were focused on moving these modalities closer together without disrupting the ideals of the various parties. If we are going to have a keynote, which I am against, I think the above should guide our decision making. I much rather use that time to allow the blockchain side to get its ducks in a row and then work jointly with browser folks to get our MINIMUM CORE requirements met. -Rick
