Mapping new properties to existing ontology properties

The following is an active discussion in the Bioschemas proposal document

When preparing the document I initially used owl:sameAs to map the newly proposed properties to their existing counterpart in another ontology. The use of owl:sameAs is not appropriate here and other properties have now been discussed in the document.

The purpose of this thread is to ensure that these discussions are visible beyond the current proposal document and to bring the discussion to some closure.

Currently the proposals are for:

  *   rdfs:subPropertyOf
  *   skos:closeMatch
