Sensor data & real time pocesing

Since we are moving towards the end of the first round of requirements
elicitation in our BigData Europe project, the topic of sensor data and
real time processing does not seem to be answered.
What are your opinions about:

   - How much sensor data is used in your domain?
   - And together with sensor data is velocity of processing it a need?

Fell free to share your opinions They will help shape the Food security,
sustainable agriculture and forestry, marine and maritime and inland water
research, and the bioeconomy domain.
