Re: radical as a new default branch

The plan of action is:

* `radical` becomes `series/0.8.x`
* `series/0.8.x` is made the default branch
* `radical` is removed
* `master` becomes `series/0.7.x`
* `master` is removed

I can do that today but I want to make sure that everybody is ok with
the fact that the existing PRs will have to be reissued. So I am
especially waiting for Allistair's approval who has a bunch of them.
