I got the technical/formal details of the example we talked about
working, but now I wonder if we can find an example that uses
something other than time to come up with a contradiction.

p.s. This is my 2nd try sending this msg; 1st time failed because
the mailing list is configured to accept posts only from subscribers.
(The norm these days is to allow anybody subscribed to
any W3C mailing list... or something close to that.) My work-around
was to appoint myself to the task force. If that entails agreeing
to some charter, I'd appreciate a pointer, as it didn't come up
while I was looking around.
