Well, I couldn't help doing additional work after we last spoke, and just before the TAG meeting, I spent some time formulating some of what I said in the draft report in what I've been calling "ABLP logic" (Abadi, Burrows, Lampson, Plotkin 1991 [1] / 1993 TOPLAS). I gave a brief summary of the report, during which no tomatoes were thrown, and then we spent most of the session - which had to be extended - on the new half-baked work. I am on the hook to explain the idea to you (basically, that interesting conclusions are enabled around content negotiation consistency and httpRange-14 if you assume that "corresponds to" implies "speaks for"), although it appears Dan Connolly may do this for me: http://www.w3.org/2001/tag/group/track/actions/349 . Will keep you posted. Jonathan [1] http://www.hpl.hp.com/techreports/Compaq-DEC/SRC-RR-70.html
