As threatened, I made a new diagram (http://sw.neurocommons.org/2008/ inforesource2.pdf), one that could easily be written as classes and properties, that's similar to the previous one (http:// sw.neurocommons.org/2008/inforesource.pdf), but includes a node for 'the web' to help us to talk about the relationship between an information resource and the web. Minor(?) changes: - Assuming for now that 'information resource' and 'abstract document' are the same, and adding another phrase to try on for size 'variable information' ... you will all tell me why that's wrong and I'll learn something - Removed the 'dereferences' arc that Stuart found objectionable - Saying "F&T Formal Resource" instead of "value cloud" to better connect that node in the diagram to Fielding & Taylor's paper - Added arc for awww:representation relationship On Tuesday or before I'll try to justify the time I'm asking people to spend critiquing this diagram in the context of the AWWSW project and the other things we've talked about so far. Half the time I think the project of characterizing acceptable 200 response patterns is hopeless and want to give up, and if others think the same maybe we should go on to a different activity.
