Participate in a Master's Thesis Interview on Data Privacy in Connected Cars

Dear W3C Community Members,

I am writing to invite you to participate in a 30-minute interview as part of a master’s thesis project supervised by me. Our student, Torben Ziegler, is researching "Data Privacy in the Age of Connected Cars: Industry Practices and Consumer Perspectives." This thesis examines current practices and challenges related to data processing and privacy within the connected car industry.

In particular, we are interested in discussing the following topics:

Value Creation: How collected connected car data creates value.
Use Cases & Risks: Specific vehicle data use cases and the associated risks.
Data Sharing Challenges: Issues in data sharing, including the impact of legal regulations such as the EU Data Act.
End-User Control: The capabilities available to end users to control their data.
Your expertise would be invaluable to this study, and we would greatly appreciate your insights. If you are interested in participating, please let Torben (in cc) know your available dates so that we can schedule the interview at your convenience.

Thank you very much for considering this invitation. I look forward to the possibility of collaborating with you.

Best regards,

Ansgar Gerlicher
