Fwd: COVESA - Commercial Vehicle Birds of a Feather Kickoff

Together with Bosch/ETAS I am kicking off a new COVESA group, the
Commercial Vehicle Birds of a Feather on 15 August. Essentially we're
trying to start establishing wider production use of VSS in the cloud.
While initially focused on fleet operational data, the same conventions can
be applied for other industry verticals that rely on vehicle data such as
insurance, maintenance, regulatory compliance and EV charging.

Please share with colleagues and acquaintances for whom this might be
pertinent. We will make slides and other materials available from the wiki
linked in the invite as we appreciate some people may be on Summer holiday
or otherwise unable to attend. Thomas Spreckley (ETAS) and I are also
willing to meet with interested parties separately.
