Automated WCAG Monitoring Community Group
Teleconference 2015-03-26, 16:00 - 17:00 h (CET)

Participants: Wilco (chair), Frank, Kamyar, Annika, Twan, Jesse (only first part of the call)

ITEM 1: Action items:
Action item Wilco: Organise Auto-WCAG Workshop in May. May could be a problem so Wilco is looking for alternative dates in June. He well send the dates next week.

ITEM 2: Creating member articles (Birkir)
The idea is that once a month a group member writes an article about their interest / background in related to auto-wcag. We publish this article to the website.

Question Annika: How long should this article be? Wilco: Between 400 and 1000 words.
Wilco: Name for this? Column a good name? We call it columns.

Wilco will start writing the first column. Jesse has time to write a column in April. And Annika has time to write a column in May.

ITEM 3: Alternating call days
Wilco: We lost a few members because some people are unable to attend the calls on Thursdays. So the suggestion is to have the meetings one week on Wednesday and the other week on Thursday.

Conclusion after discussion: The calls will be held on Thursday. But maybe we could change the timeslot a bit. Wilco will take a look at this.

Changed the selector.

Update on the help texts in step 9, 12, 14 and 15. Help text 15 is fine. 9, 12, 14 needs a little update.

Should we handle decorative groups of images? Worlds worst web-designer may include a bunch of images as a background. This probably won't happen a lot. Add an assumption.
Check for technique procedure step 2 and step 3 (G196)? Frank will contact Kate about this.

Step 4 states that the link of the control should be the first one. The success criteria and techniques are not clear about this. Conclusion: first link is to strict but is should be one of the first links of the page. Further research is needed.

ITEM 6: Final thoughts
Wilco suggest to add on the talk / discussion page a new section: Worked on issues. This section includes the comments the test case writer is working on / has worked on. With this we have a better overview of witch comments the test case writer has worked on.

Annika: Do we have a meeting next week because of eastern holiday?
Wilco: Next week call is off. The next call will be in two weeks, 9th of April.
