Greetings everyone.

I am, at least for the time being, the auto-WCAG Twittermaster.
At the last meeting we decided that our Twitter account should be active and we should create 3 to 5 tweets every week, making sure they are on-topic and relevant.
I have been thinking about how best to do this.
Last week we did not have a meeting,so I did not follow up with tweets but I strategized.
My thought is that every week when we discuss a certain WCAG success criterion we will tweet or retweet interesting articles as well as the basics for that criterion.
As next Thursday’s meeting will tackle some of the difficulties of 1.1.1 I have 3 resource tweets ready and will tweet one every day Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
I recommend you read through the articles pointed to by these tweets, but in order to find out what they are, you have to follow @autowcag on Twitter.
On Wednesdays we will probably also tweet the agenda for our Thursday meetings.
Thursdays or Fridays I am planning on tweeting a couple of 140 character summary of discussions as well as work on a monthly blog posts discussing our work in more detail.

Certainly we could tweet or retweet other relevant tweets from W3C or the accessibility community, but I do not want to get too active or too “social” with this account, so I think we need to be careful and very selective with that, perhaps only tweet things relevant to W3C work or major major accessibility news.
I also want us to stay away from engaging in discussions through the account, at least not unless they are directly relevant to tweets about our own work.

The action items I want from you:

- Recommend accounts that @autowcag should follow

- Follow @autowcag

-

If you have a Twitter account dedicated to accessibility, please tell me so that I can have autowcag follow you.
If you use Twitter more for fun/personal reasons, that is not necessary.
Thanks guys, first tweet coming up tomorrow! See you Thursday!
Stay tuned!
-Birkir
