Hello, here are the notes. I may have missed some things, please complete as necessary. Wilco, do you update the action items on the wiki? Automated WCAG Monitoring Community Group Teleconference 2014-06-26, 16:00 - 17:00 h (CET) *Attendees:* Annika Birkir Hanno John Kamyar Wilco *Action items addressed* 1. John : RGAA translation sent : needs to be slightly corrected and put on the wiki with link sent to list. 2. Wilco has updated the page of SC and people can now put their names by the ones they will tackle: https://www.w3.org/community/auto-wcag/wiki/Test_overview 3. Hanno's updates : currently working on the QUAIL list , not completed yet. Action open til next week. 4. Kaymar comments on the RGAA example -- exhaustive list of the css properties would be necessary -- ... all automatable? No. Action point JOHN : have a look at what is automatable in RGAA 5. Annika : templates updated 6. John : as Kamyar said, clarifying the RGAA selectors seems important . Actually clarifying RGAA (automatisable/not) in general. *Summary of Copenhagen* Although there for a different project, people did find time to meet and owrk on the auto-wcag community group's work. The main page has been updated to reflect the outcomes of this meeting : https://www.w3.org/community/auto-wcag/wiki/Main_Page Including the introduction, to make it more clear what is going on : https://www.w3.org/community/auto-wcag/wiki/Introduction_to_auto-wcag_test_design An algorithm was created for aggregating the result, and https://www.w3.org/community/auto-wcag/wiki/Basic_aggregation_algorithm Changes made --assertor requirements modified --profile of the human operator is optional --use of EARL (added to results template) https://www.w3.org/community/auto-wcag/wiki/Result_template Shadi sugested a new subclass to the infil property for identifying what went wrong when a test has failed. *General Discussion and Advances* We will change the property "test requirement" to an "is-part-of" relation to the CS. Annika : Egov mon automated tests created for 9 success criteria Identified by techniques not by SC to be transferred into tests for the auto-wcag http://wiki.egovmon.no/wiki/Category:WAM20 Hanno QUAIL and 15 success criteria Focus is now on 3 condition tests with possibilities for "Not applicable" and "Can't tell" (this is useful for forms) Important to see if test is applicable before going further (for example testing only HTML 5 and not Flash plugins for example) (Note from John : The structure of the RGAA tests seems to explicitly make applicability a first step in test phase) Cross references to tests between egovmon and other systems (Action ... ?) these links should be on the test level. Hanno : technique number of the Wcag needs to be mentioned. (Note : RGAA seems to have this built in) Grouping related tests / techniques for other sources. Action : each group member should put his or her name by a few SC in Wilco's new list and elaborate the test procedure. https://www.w3.org/community/auto-wcag/wiki/Test_overview Birkir: suggests discussing 1 success criteria only at each each meeting. Perhaps too limiting. Wilco: Would like to move the discussion torwards the test descriptions (away from meta-methodology) Hanno : notes that some test cases seem very difficult to implement should we stay with easily automatable? Yes! Annika : ICCHP ... anyone going? http://www.icchp.org/ (John : someone from Urbilog is meant to be there ; perhaps will see if it could be me. We are not presenting anything) *References* http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-auto-wcag/2014Jun/0016.html https://www.w3.org/community/auto-wcag/wiki/Action_items https://www.w3.org/community/auto-wcag/wiki/Test_overview https://www.w3.org/community/auto-wcag/wiki/Main_Page https://www.w3.org/community/auto-wcag/wiki/Basic_aggregation_algorithm https://www.w3.org/community/auto-wcag/wiki/Introduction_to_auto-wcag_test_design https://www.w3.org/community/auto-wcag/wiki/Result_template http://wiki.egovmon.no/wiki/Category:WAM20 https://www.w3.org/community/auto-wcag/wiki/Test_overview * Summary of action items:* John : RGAA to the wiki and some clarifications Hanno : Quail list Everyone : pick some SC and begin writing tests! Cross-reference of systems? Action for everyone? (suggestion: get familiar with the different sets) https://www.w3.org/community/auto-wcag/wiki/Action_items
