Greetings everyone! Since I recently joined the Audio Working Group as an invited expert, I think a proper introduction is in order. My name is Jean-Philippe Côté. I am a professor <https://www.cegepmontpetit.ca/cegep/recherche/professeurs-chercheurs/jean-philippe-cote> at Édouard-Montpetit College <https://www.cegepmontpetit.ca/> and new media artist <https://djip.co/> from the Montreal metropolitan area (Canada). The main reason that brought me to this group is because I am the developer of WebMidi.js <https://github.com/djipco/webmidi>, a popular open source JavaScript library (MIT licensed) acting as an abstraction layer on top of the Web MIDI API. I was just granted a professional abatement to develop the next version of the library and will be knee deep in the API for quite a few months. Accordingly, my expertise, and interest, mostly lie with the Web MIDI API and this is the area I hope I can contribute to. I’m in constant contact with end-users and developers who regularly provide valuable insight into how the API can be shaped for the future. I am happy to join this group and hope I can contribute in a meaningful way. Best regards to all, -- Jean-Philippe Côté https://djip.co / @djipco
