Hi folks. The address is MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory The Stata Center, Building 32 32 Vassar Street Cambridge, MA 02139 USA The room is D463, also known as the Star room, which is on the fourth floor. Stata has multiple entrances, the one you want is the main entrance in the gates tower. This can be recognized by the shining metal letters spelling MIT as a sculpture outside. Gates tower is the one closest to the intersection of Vassar St and Main St. If you are using Google Maps or Uber, it puts you too far up the street so enter 2 Vassar St instead. There are two ways that I suggest to get to the meeting room - with elevators (a bit longer walking, more chance to get lost): Enter the gates tower, walk forwards and look for the elevators to your right. Take an elevator to the fourth floor. Turn right, then left, walk past the dining area to the end of the hall, then turn left and D463 is ahead of you. - with stairs (faster but involves lots of stairs) Instead of going in the main entrance, turn left and walk outside along the side of the building. There is a grassy area to your left. To your right you will see a semi-circular amphitheater with steps going up the middle. Climb the steps. Follow the path around the shiny metal building and go in the glass doors. You will be on a landing in a stairwell. Continue up the steps. You are now on the 3rd floor. To your right you will see a W3C sign. Ignore that but instead go through the glass double doors that lead to more stairs. Go up them, turn sharp right and D463 is right in front of you. Here is a 4th floor map with D463 marked. http://www.csail.mit.edu/resources/maps/4D/D463.gif The nearest decent coffee is Area Four, which is at 500 Tech Square, Cambridge, MA 02139 http://areafour.com/locations/kendall-square/ and is 4 minutes walk from MIT CSAIL https://www.google.com/maps/dir/''/42.3620648,-71.0902581/@42.3625756,-71.0923586,18z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m9!4m8!1m5!1m1!1s0x0:0x3dd6eaf6b681748d!2m2!1d-71.0924408!2d42.3630865!1m0!3e2 On 6/15/17 5:12 AM, Matthew Paradis wrote: > Dear Group, > > Please find a proposed agenda and venue details for our F2F meeting in Boston on the 20-21st June 2017. > > Look forward to seeing you all next week. > > Best > > Matt & Joe > > -- > > Venue: MIT CSAIL (https://www.csail.mit.edu/contactus) > Chris L to provide further details on finding the meeting room. > > Agenda > > Monday 19th June > 19.30: Dinner: Central Kitchen, 67 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge, MA 02139, USA > > Tuesday 20th June > 09.00: Arrive, setup, greetings. > 09.15: Issue resolution all V1 blockers > 10.30: Break > 10.45: Issue resolution all V1 blockers > 12.30: Lunch > 13.30: Issue resolution review all v.1 issues – assign to group members > 15.30: Break > 15.45: Web Midi Update: > 17:00 Close > 19.30: Dinner (Venue to be confirmed) > > Wednesday 21st June > 09.00: Issue resolution review all v.1 issues – assign to group members > 10.30: Break > 10.45: Testing plan > 12.30: Lunch > 13.30: Schedule of tasks and commitment to a CR date. > 15:00: Break > 15:45: Structuring of the WG for v.next > 16.30: Close > > -- > Matthew Paradis > Senior Software Engineer (Audio), > BBC Research & Development > 030304 09889 | 07841 506241 | matthew.paradis@bbc.co.uk | www.bbc.co.uk/rd/sound > > > > ----------------------------- > http://www.bbc.co.uk > This e-mail (and any attachments) is confidential and > may contain personal views which are not the views of the BBC unless specifically stated. > If you have received it in > error, please delete it from your system. > Do not use, copy or disclose the > information in any way nor act in reliance on it and notify the sender > immediately. > Please note that the BBC monitors e-mails > sent or received. > Further communication will signify your consent to > this. > ----------------------------- -- Chris Lilley @svgeesus Technical Director @ W3C W3C Strategy Team, Core Web Design W3C Architecture & Technology Team, Core Web & Media
