This is not a TF item, but the TF may be interested:

The proposal https://pbos.github.io/mst-type-hint/ has been put forward
in order to solve some operational issues found in practice.

It allows the JS application to inform the platform about what kind of
content a MediaStreamTrack carries, so that appropriate processing can
be applied, without the application needing to know the details of the
processing steps involved.

Please read it, and comment here or there.
