[minutes] Audio WG teleconference, 2015-03-05

Dear group,

Here are the minutes for yesterdays teleconference:

http://www.w3.org/2015/03/05-audio-minutes.html

Summary:

1. Date of Next Meeting: Our next meeting is scheduled for 12 noon Boston time on Thursday 2015-03-19.

2. We have confirmed the face to face in Boston on the 1st & Second of June. Matt and Joe will send out agenda and logistical information in due course.

3. Request from WAC16 for us to run another Plenary session. Matt will let them know that we are happy to do this, however as it is so far ahead of time and the conference dates have not yet been decided we will have to confirm closer to the time who will actually be in attendance. Note - Matt suggested that it might be an idea to incorporate a F2F meeting in to this trip (assuming many of us will be in attendance) we will look in to this closer to the time.

4. Unclear behavior of ChannelMergerNode (#304), the group agreed with HongChans proposal and the issue has been marked as "Ready for Editing".

5. Audio Worker Factory Proposal - Chris was not availble for the call but intends to work on this before the next meeting.

6. Discussion on coming to agreement for a V1 of the spec. The group identified 3 fundamental nodes that need addressing. 3D Panner, Noise Gate/Expander and Audio Worker. Chairs to review the current issue list and the group has set a target of the June F2F to put forward the V1 specification.

Best

Matt
