[minutes] Audio WG teleconference 2014-02-20

Dear all,

The minutes of the W3C Audio Working Group’s teleconference on 20th February 2014 are online:
http://www.w3.org/2014/02/20-audio-minutes.html

Topics discussed:

• Report on Web MIDI Session at NAMM

Kawai and CWilso gave a quick report on the web midi session at NAMM, including demos: http://webaudiodemos.appspot.com/namm/#/
We discussed how the group could keep track of and centralise messages of support for the web midi api, so we can make a case for browser makers to implement it.

• Visible data races (and scriptprocessornodes in workers)

The continuing discussion on how to solve “the rest of” the data race issues (this time in AudioProcessingEvent - see https://github.com/WebAudio/web-audio-api/issues/268) has raised the question of whether/how we can have scriptprocessornodes in workers. Cwilso will draft a strawman proposal.

Next meeting: March 6th, same time as usual.
