Greetings. In http://www.w3.org/TR/2013/WD-webaudio-20131010/ section 16 it is unclear that W3C has actually obtained the necessary rights to license the used images under the "W3C Document License". That license includes provisions that allow third parties to re-distribute the content, and if the images are not covered under it, the current situation puts them in legal jeopardy. I note, for instance, that the "GarageBand" image seems to be also used on the referenced Wikipedia article, where it comes with the clear warning "Any other uses of this image, on Wikipedia or elsewhere, may be copyright infringement." Needless to say that I think Apple, Inc. and others should find better places than vendor-neutral Standard documents to advertise their goods. regards, -- Björn Höhrmann · mailto:bjoern@hoehrmann.de · http://bjoern.hoehrmann.de Am Badedeich 7 · Telefon: +49(0)160/4415681 · http://www.bjoernsworld.de 25899 Dagebüll · PGP Pub.
