As per the recent discussion, I'd like to talk about cross-origin media requests in the context of Web Audio, if times allows us. A relevant (but old) thread is http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-audio/2013JulSep/0219.html. Quick summary: roc (and then Ehsan) proposed that a MediaElementSourceNode whose HTMLMediaElement is cross-origin, and: - Either the .crossOrigin attribute was not set, or ; - The .crossOrigin attribute was set, but the server denied the use of the resource for cross-origin applications. outputs silence instead of the samples from the HTMLMediaElement. Chris Rogers then said that is was a "reasonable idea". Cheers, Paul. ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Olivier Thereaux" <olivier.thereaux@bbc.co.uk> > To: "Audio WG" <public-audio@w3.org> > Sent: Wednesday, January 15, 2014 12:28:17 PM > Subject: [Agenda] W3C Audio WG Teleconference, 2014-01-16 > > Dear all, > > This is a proposed agenda for the upcoming teleconference of the Audio WG on > 16th January 2014 at noon, Boston time. > > In your timezone: http://timeanddate.com/s/2hvv > > Logistics: http://www.w3.org/2011/audio/wiki/Meetings > > Proposed agenda: > > Agenda+ Review of action items > > We will go through http://www.w3.org/2011/audio/track/agenda > > Also from last meeting: > Paul to close Github issue 66 (associate the right commit to it for archive > purposes) > https://github.com/WebAudio/web-audio-api/issues/66 > ChrisW and Ray to report on exploration of Github Issue 268 > https://github.com/WebAudio/web-audio-api/issues/268 > Paul to report on progress integrating changes from Github Issue 254 to the > spec > https://github.com/WebAudio/web-audio-api/issues/254 > > > Agenda+ gain.value > Followup on our recent discussion on dezippering, and comments by Karl > http://www.w3.org/2013/12/19-audio-minutes.html#item02 > http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-audio/2013OctDec/0340.html > (pending issue for tracking purposes) > > > Agenda+ Spec Milestones Estimates > Quick review of latest estimates at > http://www.w3.org/2011/audio/wiki/W3C_Audio_Publications_and_Milestones#Latest_Estimates > > > Agenda+ 2014 f2f meeting(s) > Spring meeting, TPAC > > Other agenda items may be added during the teleconference, time permitting. > > -- > Olivier > > > ----------------------------- > http://www.bbc.co.uk > This e-mail (and any attachments) is confidential and > may contain personal views which are not the views of the BBC unless > specifically stated. > If you have received it in > error, please delete it from your system. > Do not use, copy or disclose the > information in any way nor act in reliance on it and notify the sender > immediately. > Please note that the BBC monitors e-mails > sent or received. > Further communication will signify your consent to > this. > ----------------------------- > >
