[minutes] Audio WG Teleconference 2013-11-21

Hello,

The minutes of our last teleconference (on 21 Nov 2013) are online:
http://www.w3.org/2013/11/21-audio-minutes.html

1) We started by discussing the MIDI session at TPAC. Ryoya Kawai, who co-organised the info session on web midi/web audio community and events (in Japan especially) joined the call.

The slides are online: http://www.slideshare.net/ryoyakawai/breakouttpac-2013

2) We then summarised the recent discussion on dezippering:

 https://github.com/WebAudio/web-audio-api/issues/76
 http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-audio/2013OctDec/thread.html#msg242

In the following discussion, there was consensus that standardising the current behaviour of the Webkit/Blink implementations was an acceptable compromise. Chris Lowis (ACTION-84) will summarise the preferred solution, and I will followup with a CfC.

3) Web Array Math API CG
FYI - http://www.w3.org/community/webarraymath/

4) MediaElementAudioSource test
Discussed the contributed test which raised the question of whether it makes sense to use MediaElementAudioSource (and also mediastreamAudioSource) with OfflineAudioContext. The answer is, it doesn’t. Chris Lowis (ACTION-86) to document.

Next meetings: 5th, then 19th December. The calendar is up to date:
