CSS Might not be exactly the right example - the closest to what I mean by core is CSS3 Syntax, I guess.
The idea I'd like us to consider is that of splitting the spec, either functionality-wise (we could have a web audio: filters and web audio: generators, for instance) or complexity-wise…
