[MINUTES] ATAG CG Meeting - December 5 2025

Good news, the transcript worked this time, I have updated the minutes here: https://pad.w3.org/p/ATAG_CG_Minutes_-_Dec_5_2025 please feel free to edit or update these, including notes, until the end of next week (Dec 12) when I will close the file and publish a version to our repository. I’ve done an initial cleanup but I am sure there are more errors.

In our first meeting we discussed how to take the transcripts and people expressed not wanting to use Zoom AI Companion for data reasons. It turns out that Zoom has tied up Transcripts into the AI Companion feature, so the two must run together to get transcripts. I did do some research on AI Companion to understand how it uses data and found out Zoom does not use data from AI Companion to train its models, I also have the ability in my account to delete the transcripts once I am done with them, but my org also has a data retention policy of only 30 days. If people are ok with this, we won’t need to record every meeting, I’ll just need to turn AI Companion on. Please feel free to let me know if you still have concerns, and I will investigate an alternative.
