Hi I am a web developer at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow. We are currently redeveloping areas of our web site and are looking to your site for guidance on all things accessibility. On your 'Patterns' page, I can't see any example for a select drop-down. The nearest pattern seems to be the 'combobox'. The appearance is that of a select dropdown but the code is quite different. Are there any examples of the select dropdown? This is a very common pattern and it would be useful if it was included. <select name="cars" id="cars"> <option value="volvo">Volvo</option> <option value="saab">Saab</option> <option value="opel">Opel</option> <option value="audi">Audi</option> </select> Best wishes Alison Weatherston Front-end web developer University of Strathclyde Glasgow, UK ____________________________________ [University of Strathclyde and Safe360 logo] THE QUEEN’S ANNIVERSARY PRIZES 1996, 2019, 2021 & 2023 For Higher and Further Education UNIVERSITY OF THE YEAR 2012 & 2019 Times Higher Education UNIVERSITY OF THE YEAR 2024 RUNNER-UP Daily Mail University of the Year Awards SCOTTISH UNIVERSITY OF THE YEAR 2024 Daily Mail University of the Year Awards EUROPEAN ENTREPRENEURIAL UNIVERSITY OF THE YEAR 2023 Triple E Awards ____________________________________ The University of Strathclyde is a charitable body, registered in Scotland, number SC015263.
