Preparing for APG 1.2 publication on w3.org

Hi All,

Michael Cooper will be publishing the APG 1.2 Note during the week of
November 15. That means we need to wrap up our changes by November 10,
leaving a couple days for final prep in the publication branch.

We currently have 48 issues and pull requests open in the 1.2 milestone. 16
of them are pull requests that are in review. These are our top priority:

ed-desc+milestone%3A%221.2+Release+1%22

To get into 1.2, a PR will need to be for an essential bug fix or related to
one of the other issues already in the 1.2 milestone.

The 1.2 release is already a huge step forward from the now quite old 1.1
release 4. Since 1.1 release 4, We have closed or merged 148 content-related
issues and pull requests.

If you have the ability to find a few extra hours in the next 3 weeks to
help review and test changes and fixes, that will go along way to making 1.2
the best release it can be. Jemma and I will reach out with specific
requests in meetings, via GitHub, and occasionally via direct email or chat.

Best,

matt
