RE: Updated carousel pattern

Oh good … you found some functional alternatives! I wonder which way the preview plugin we have is going to go. Which list would be used for discussion of that? Aren’t all the spects built with respec using that plugin?

For our usage any of the following seem to work

http://htmlpreview.github.io/

https://raw.githack.com/

http://gitcdn.xyz/

Note – I haven’t done any evaluations on which of these is the best to use. I’d appreciate advice on that from others.

I don’t think we can use JSDelivr as it serves files as plain text. We need aria-practices served as html.

Jon,

I’ve seen a number of people on Twitter talking about moving to JSDeliver (https://www.jsdelivr.com/rawgit). Maybe that will work? Seems to have similar link architecture as well.

Matt, rawgit will be shutting down soon. Seems it reached a critical mass the creator couldn’t sustain any longer. Most unfortunate.

Jon, I don't see a problem with rawgit. Perhaps you just had an invalid link? Why do you think it doesn't work? Matt

I have updated the carousel pattern (Pull request 927):
https://github.com/w3c/aria-practices/pull/927

With rawgit not working anymore, is there a good way to share the changes to make them easy for member to view?

Here is the link to my repository with the changes:
