Team, Many of you have received github notifications, but I just want to make sure everyone is aware of what needs immediate attention for us to hit our target of a working group review ready doc in 14 days (October 30). First, as many eyes as possible on my proposal for a read me first section. This is to address a variety of outstanding issues, but most importantly to help ensure we have sufficient guidance on role and property precedence. Joanie broght to my attention concerns at Mozilla that affect their implementation decisions. See issue #474 for details. New Read Me First: http://w3c.github.io/aria-practices/#read_me_first Issue 474: https://github.com/w3c/aria-practices/issues/474 Also, please make sure you have reviewed: Layout grid examples: http://w3c.github.io/aria-practices/examples/grid/LayoutGrids.html Scrollable listbox examples: http://w3c.github.io/aria-practices/examples/listbox/listbox-scrollable.html We have a discussion about the graphic for partially check tri-state checkbox in issues 471. If you can help out with this, maybe even by providing other options for graphics, please comment in the issue: https://github.com/w3c/aria-practices/issues/471 Coming soon: Jon is working on aria 1.0 combo examples and the disclosure pattern. James is working on window splitter. I am working on the documentation on the 1.1 combo examples, the keyboard guidance we discussed last week, and fitting in other smaller issues where I can. We are getting close to the first official ARIA Practices Guide!! Matt
