Hi everyone, Thanks for the good call despite my short notice. As usual, my rough notes from the meeting are below. Best, Peter. # ARIA Editors meeting, 2023-05-15 present: scotto, jnurthen, spectranaut, regrets: mattking, jemma pkra: do we need new editors to compensate, e.g., Steve F? james: yes. maybe the new folks as assistive editors spectranaut: +1 to that! pkra: about aria-common ... I did a PR to test pre-processing aria.js ... but not sure how to check if things are broken jnurthen: we should do a gh-pages version ... looks broken, e.g. section 6.5 has no links ... maybe split things up into pre-processing ... modularizing more will make things more maintainable pkra: will do ... about the respecEvents.sub. jnurthen: that was for pre-respec ... should really not be necessary anymore ... it's for old specs pkra: the whole require() part of aria.js ... couldn't get it to work ... can we generate that elsewhere? jnurthen: works for me though pkra: oops, ok. will take a look what I did wrong spectranaut: I'll work on retiring aria mapping tables this week pkra: yay! pkra: let's look at PRs ... jquery jnurthen: let's merge. pkra: nick schoonen's PRs => pkra takes them on ... Carolyn's on non-global props => jnurthen takes it on ... Caroyln's on focusable jnurthen: svg defines it; we shouldn't override it ... jcraig said we should link to HTML but if multiple specs define it pkra: maybe should be "host language"? jnurthen: maybe. we should make a new issue in ARIA and close Am Mo., 15.
