Joe informed me of the group’s conclusions this morning regarding the spin button conflicts. I have adjusted my results accordingly and there are no remaining conflicts. If there is another VO or NVDA test ready to go that needs testing, let me know. Enjoy the rest of your week all. I got the same results as Murray for both the Down arrow test and the Control+Option+Shift+Down Arrow then Control+Option+Down Arrow test. Down arrow: 0% You are currently on a stepper. To begin interacting with this stepper, press Control-Option-Shift-Down Arrow. Control+Option+Shift+Down Arrow then Control+Option+Down Arrow: 0% You are currently in a stepper. To decrease this value, press Control-Option-Down Arrow. To increase this value, press Control-Option-Up Arrow. To exit this stepper, press Control-Option-Shift-Up Arrow. I updated my OS and Safari. I’m getting the same result you got for test 5 now, so that has been resolved. But on test 6 I am getting the same result I got before. So we have only one conflict on there now and we need a tie breaker. Maybe Joe can give that a quick look and we can ship it 😉 Have a good weekend all. I’ve reviewed and re-tested the conflicting results. I’ve resolved the first two, but the other two don’t appear to be issues with Quick Nav. They’re more likely differences in the versions of MacOS/Safari that we’re using—I’m still getting values as decimals, rather than the whole numbers. I’m on MacOS 26 (26.3.1), but yours is still listed as 15.6.1 so I’m guessing there’s been a regression in VoiceOver. I also noticed that your output doesn’t match mine and appears to be hand-written, rather than recorded using the VoiceOver-recorder, though I don’t believe that’s causing any issues, it does introduce a difference in the text as conveyed by VoiceOver directly so maybe something we want discuss next week to ensure data consistency. If you run it again, you should get the same results I did and that will clear those up. Tests 5 and 6: Can you double check to make sure you did them with quick nav off? We suspect that may be the issue, because I’ve run them several times and I got the same results as the bot. If it’s still an issue, it may be an OS version thing and I can look at it again on my end.
