RE: Meeting tomorrow and test results

Dean,

In the case of quicknav needing to be turned off then on, if quicknav is meant to be on by default, then this would be a scenario where it would be appropriate to use the new checkbox that states the command is not testable. We may need to check with Apple about what is expected. It does seem like a bug if quick nav is actually on and the quick nav keys are not working.

Subject: Meeting tomorrow and test results

Hi folks,

Won’t be able to make the meeting tomorrow, but I finished my assigned testing on accordion.

On test 2, when you run the test setup button it focuses on the “name” field. That activates the autofill feature, so when you start typing “B” for example, it starts going through your contacts looking for first names that start with the letter B. I had to turn quick nav off, and then back on again to get it to announce the info. So I’m not sure what to report there. For the moment, I just set it to passing, as it does announce properly once you toggle quick nav. But my inclination is to mark it as a fail.

On the tests where I reported no output – when the test setup runs, it announces everything properly. But when you do the key combos, it just makes a ding sound.
