Subject: CfC: Standing consent to publish updated Working Drafts

This is a Call for Consensus (CfC) to the ARIA Working Group to provide standing consent to publish updated Working Drafts of all Recommendation-track and Note-track documents maintained by the ARIA Working Group. If this CfC is accepted, the Working Group will not need to provide consent to publish each Working Draft, and the outcome of this CfC will be used as the decision of record for publication of drafts as needed. This applies only to ordinary Working Drafts, not other stages which require formal transitions including First Public Working Draft, Candidate Recommendation, and later stages.

Action

This CfC is now open for objection, comment, as well as statements of support via email. Silence will be interpreted as support, though messages of support are certainly welcome.

If you object to this proposal, or have comments concerning it, please respond by replying on list to this message no later than 12:00 Boston Time, Thursday, 20 September 2018.

For objections only, please copy the main public-aria@w3.org list to allow technical discussion of the objection to happen there.

Process

This CfC is conducted per the ARIA WG decision policy:
