Hello Timothy, Nice to meet you! The concept of using AR for biometric signatures has been bandied about several times but I’m not aware of anyone building or providing such a service. Just to make sure we use the same terminology, my definition of an Augmented Reality browser is a type of native mobile app that permits the user to have experiences that are developed with the authoring tools of the browser provider, encoded using the browser provider’s proprietary scene definition and most frequently accessed via the proxy service of the browser provider. Delivering AR experiences in a Web browser is (has been) the focus of discussions led by Rob Manson and others. Interested in an array of other things about the web but my primary mission with AR related tech. is to ensure people own their own biometric signatures, which is something that i think can be done with a combination of technologies being considered within various W3 related communities. > > Nice to meet you all :) > > Timothy Holborn > Skype: sailing_digital > LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/ubiquitous <https://www.linkedin.com/in/ubiquitous> > > > [1] http://www.mico-project.eu/technology/ <http://www.mico-project.eu/technology/> > On Sun, 3 Jul 2016 at 21:20 <sysbot+ipp@w3.org <mailto:sysbot%2Bipp@w3.org>> wrote: > Dear Chair, and Team Contact, > > On July 3, 2016, 11:18 UTC, timothy holborn joined the Augmented Reality > Community Group as an unaffiliated individual. .
