More than just Location based AR in standard web browsers

Hey,

here's a link to the awe.js demo for this week.

http://youtu.be/X_XR9VbQPeE

The code is on github and this example runs in Chrome and Firefox on
Android and PC.

It's clear that in some ways the Augmented Web is now up to where Mobile
AR was in 2010, and it's accelerating at an amazing pace. But when you
look at the interactivity and the 3D capabilities it's already equal to
and in some cases already beyond today's proprietary Mobile AR browsers.

And the fact that it runs in mainstream web browsers obviously means it
will rapidly be available to a much larger audience than proprietary
Mobile AR ever was.

Talk to you soon.
