Dear public-informationarchitecture & public-appsdesignlab, In observing concentration affecting deployment patterns of the Internet, it is found that there is "the tendency to deliver functionality over the the Internet as a web-service or web-application ... (with such a looking on)... APIs controlled by the web-sevice operator... (and the dependency on)... open Internet infrastructure". By the second pattern, "concentration of network services ...(offering) ... the standard capabilities of the Internet", there is a story about the Internet "services provided are consentrated because of businees patterns related with the web-service mentioned above" and here is a consideration to the Internet architecture. Sullivan, Andrew, "Three Kinds of Concentration in Open Protocols", IAB DEDR Workshops June 2019 https://www.iab.org/wp-content/IAB-uploads/2019/05/p7-sulllivan-three_kinds_concentration_ajs_dedr.pdf https://www.iab/activities/workshops/dedr-workshops/position-papers/ Regard, Guntur Wiseno Putra Pada Jumat, 17 Januari 2020, Guntur Wiseno Putra <gsenopu@gmail.com> menulis: > Dear public-informationarchitecture, > > > Here pieces of "Content Delivery Networks" available in section "Content > Delivery Networks (CDNs) -- local hosting global brands" of chapter 5. > "What is Consolidation" of "2019 Internet Society Global Internet Report: > Consolidation in the Internet Economy": > > https://future.internetsociety.org/2019/wp-content/uploads/s > ites/2/2019/04/InternetSociety-GlobalInternetReport- > ConsolidationintheInternetEconomy.pdf > > > Regard, > Guntur Wiseno Putra > > Pada Kamis, 09 Januari 2020, Guntur Wiseno Putra <gsenopu@gmail.com> > menulis: > >> Dear public-informationarchitecture >> >> An Internet Draft closely related with "Design Expectations vs Deployment >> Reality"mentioned in the previous message currently rising a discussion at >> architecture-discuss@ietf.org is >> >> Centralised Architectures in Internet Infrastructure >> draft-arkko-arch-infrastructure-centralisation-00 >> >> Abstract >> >> Centralised deployment models for Internet services and Internet >> business consolidation are well-known Internet trends, at least when >> it comes to popular and user-visible service.
