Dear XBL experts, This email comments on the 7 September 2006 LCWD of XBL 2.0. In Section 4 "Binding Attachment and Detachment", what does 'the element has been created' mean ? For instance, in a SAX parser, may this mean as soon as the start event has been called ? Should the sentence "In particular, binding can happen before the element is inserted into its document." be interpreted as a yes or is it just meant for element created and bound by script. Please clarify. What are the consequences of "[...] such that to any running scripts it appears that the binding was applied immediately." ? In particular, Section 4.4 says "this attachment is not necessarily synchronous". Do I understand correctly: - if the binding is loaded, the attachment should be instantaneous (almost synchronous) - if the binding is not loaded, the attachment is not synchronous ? Cyril Concolato
