Further to my last email, we do have a specific technical requirement, and some context, from the accessibility people in the Publishing Maintenance WG - your input on this in Wednesday's APA call would be appreciated. The ask is: "The main requirement from PMWG is to work out a solution for programmatically identifying the extended descriptions, I.E. some way to provide the semantic information for extended descriptions. The following document explains the use cases from publishing community and nails down the problem statement. ... <https://github.com/w3c/epub-specs/wiki/Standardizing-Extended-Descriptions: -User-Stories,-Testing-Results,-and-Current-Limitations/> " Please check it out before the APA call on Wednesday so we can plan our contribution in this area; thanks! link will be included on the APA invite for this Wednesday.
