APA minutes - May 07, 2025

Unfortunately, I was a bit too slow to write down all of Paul's key points. Sorry about that. So I would like to highlight the really interesting video by Dan that Paul linked to and explained. It shows that SSML (Speech Synthesis Markup Language) can be integrated into HTML and used by ATs through JSON and a data-attribute (data-ssml). In a broader sense, it shows the feasibility and the immense added value of the right pronunciation.
