Fredrik, First of all, thank you for your review, and articulating your thoughts so clearly. I agree with Janina that filing issues yourself could be a good approach to take here. I wonder if some feedback like this has already been lodged. I don't have the cycles right now, but the place I would look is: https://github.com/w3c/AB-public/issues/ - though that page will only show open issues. If you want _all_ issues (open _and_ closed ones), then you want this URL instead: https://github.com/w3c/AB-public/issues?q=is%3Aissue That may provide a starting point - I will look into this more as and when I find the bandwidth (hopefully before the APA WG call; we'll see!)
