Hi Mike and all others, I would really like some clarification of exactly what that language means in the spec itself. It’s a bit too compact, too abstract. And, just as you suggested, I would also very much like to see some examples. Looking forward to further disdcussions on this topic. I immediately think of how alerts would be fired to assistive technologies to inform them of new content being placed onto a new screen. The spec does contain the following text, which we may deem sufficient or not: “Existing accessibility considerations regarding default powerful feature permission models, prompting methods, and permission-related UIs, are equally pertinent to this particular specification’s permission.” I wonder if some specific examples would be beneficial for readers of the spec to more fully understand how assistive technologies are impacted by APIs such as these. Looking forward to discussing here on list or on a call sometime.
