Hello, All: Resending the following with cc to Silver Facilitators as Jeanne indicated an interest in covering CAPTCHA guidance during a recent conversation ... The APA update remains as below. We will also work with Decentralized Identifiers WG to add CAPTCHA killing use cases and requirements to their upcoming work. Janina Dear AGWG Chairs: The Accessible Platform Architectures (APA) Working Group has just published an update of W3C's 2005 Note, "Inaccessibility of CAPTCHA." Our document refers to current WCAG guidance, but we also believe AGWG might wish to update WCAG to incorporate our most recent findings. Our updated Note is the culmination of almost two years of research, discussion, authoring, and several rounds of wide public review guided by our Research Questions Task Force (RQTF). Our recommendation on potential updates to WCAG are summarized in the 5 items enumerated in the "Conclusions" section of our document: http://www.w3.org/TR/turingtest/#conclusion Also, Dr. Scott Hollier <scott@hollier.info>, cc'd on this message, has graciously offered to work with AGWG on any updates to WCAG based on our updated Note. Thank you for your consideration.
