Additional Use Cases for RQTF in RTC

Dear RQTF and APA groups,

We have gone through the following document about Use Cases with Pilar:

Please find bellow our comments on additional Use Cases. Since we are not a technical team, we base our Use Caes on user needs that we consider relevant in RTC.

1.- Sound mix :

No indication exist regarding sound mix, in one track.
It is needed to establish the loudness values for the audio description track, and the dialogue track, and their mix.

Consideration should also be taken when other soundtracks, such as music or special effects are present.

AD recommended sound values should be dynamic, since in the same video content a car chase may require a loudness value for AD higher than in an interior scene with no music and a two person intimate dialogue.

2.- Audio-subtitling/spoken subtitles

A blind user or users with some form of cognitive disability may want to access a video online streaming on the web in another language. The video has captions/subtitles but the player does not read the subtitles/captions aloud.

3.- Caption/subtitle font and size

A low vision user, elderly or color blind want to access a video online streaming with captions/subtitles but font, size and background of the captions/subtitles does not grant access to the user. There is also the issue with the black box but it might depend on the player.
