This webinar may be of interest to you.  It is about the open-source implementation of ISO/IEC 24752-8 which specifies services for managing user profiles ("user contexts") and data on other use context information.  The open-source implementation is OpenAPE <http://openape.gpii.eu/index>  = Open Accessible Personalization Extension that was developed as part of European-funded research projects.


The webinar will take place on March 13th at 2:00 pm CET.  


The agenda: 

*	Explanation of the OpenAPE architecture and workflow model
*	Latest developments
*	Demonstration of the new web interface to manage the different context formats
*	Explanation of OpenAPE.js, that can be used in applications in order to personalize them
*	Time for your questions and ideas


The webinar is going to be broadcast via Adobe Connect at https://webconf.vc.dfn.de/openape/. 


Note: If you have not used Adobe Connect before, please connect 5 minutes prior to the meeting. You may need to download and install an add-in for your browser.


Option 1: Via Internet browser (audio & screen sharing, optional video):

*	Go to https://webconf.vc.dfn.de/openape/, and enter as guest with your name.  You may be prompted to install the Adobe Connect add-in for your browser.
*	In Adobe Connect, you will hear the audio and see the screen sharing. However, if you want to talk to the other participants, you need to press the button "Connect my audio..." in the "Meeting" toolbar at the top of the Adobe Connect window.  Note that the button has the shape of a phone handset.  Now you choose the option "Using Microphone (Computer/Device)".
