Notice of research findings on CAPTCHA prepared by the Research Questions Task Force

Pursuant to a resolution documented in the Research Questions Task Force meeting minutes at https://www.w3.org/2017/05/24-rqtf-minutes.html
the following document reporting findings of the Task Force on the topic of CAPTCHA is hereby made available to the APA Working Group for consideration.

The findings of the Task Force are intended to inform revision of the W3C Note on this topic by the APA Working Group. The Task Force will update its findings, and report changes to the APA Working Group, in the event that new evidence or insights emerge while a revision of the W3C Note is under preparation.
